Suprelle® - Brand of Dacron
With the help of Dr Wallace Hume Carothers and his scientific research team, DuPont developed and was responsible for the eventual launch and production of Dacron® in the 1950s. This was an astonishing achievement, as Dacron® was the first washable synthetic textile fibre ever made. Commonly known today as polyester, it is now widely used in the production and filling of duvets and pillows, due to its ease of care and anti-allergenic properties.
Suprelle® is a filling similar to down, produced by Dacron®, which consists of micro fibres based on Dacron polyester. It has been created to match the exceptional qualities of real down, helping to give you the comfort and warmth required for a good night?s sleep.
The Suprelle® range includes Suprelle® Fresh eco and Tencel® duvets, which feature a layer of micro-encapsulated fibres that absorb humidity as your body changes temperature throughout the night, and Suprelle® Mattress Toppers, which have the same high-quality non-allergenic micro-fibre filling and eco-label certification. Whatever you need, all the Suprelle® range is designed to help create the perfect sleeping environment for you.
