Stanley Safes

Probably one of the best-known brands in its field, Stanley is a name every DIYer and tradesman grew up with. Started by Frederick Trent Stanley in Connecticut, USA in 1843, the Stanley Works company originally made bolts and door hardware. Frederick's cousin, Henry Stanley, founded The Stanley Rule and Level Company fourteen years later and the two merged to form the Hand Tools Division of The Stanley Works, eventually to become the world's largest tool company. They have since moved on and expanded their range to include innovative security systems.
