Ethnic Origins specialise in original handcrafted sisal and leather Kiondo bags from Nairobi, Kenya. Kiondo is indigenous to the kikuya and kamba tribes.

Fair Trade Policy

Made in the traditional style using natural fibres and dyes from the eastern province, these distinctive and highly practical bags first caught the eye of Natasha Howard in the early 90s. Since then she has built up a business that not only introduces their wares to an international market, but also ensures that fair trade practices are met. The bags are handmade and each one takes at least two weeks to finish!
