Sanderson wallcoverings and fabrics is a British firm with a truly international reputation. Although the company originally started by selling American, French and Japanese patterns alongside their English styles, they have perhaps become best known as one of the leading names in traditional and contemporary wallpaper design.

Embracing the work of leading artists of the time, Sanderson produced hand-printed wallpapers designed by the likes of William Morris, Walter Crane and Charles Voysey. Although production techniques and consumer tastes have moved on considerably from those early days, Sanderson still hold the original wooden printing blocks for some 600 unique designs and still produce hand printed wallpapers to order.
